This Privacy Policy describes how Modullax ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Moshot ("the Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and an encrypted password through Supabase Auth.

Payment information

When you upgrade to Pro, payment is processed by LemonSqueezy. We do not store credit card or banking details. LemonSqueezy may collect billing address, country, and tax information.

Usage data

We may collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, feature use) via privacy-friendly analytics.

Video data

Moshot is a desktop application. Your video files, audio, and any AI-generated captions remain on your local device. We do not upload, store, or process your video content on our servers.

AI provider keys

If you use AI features, you provide your own Gemini API key. The key is stored locally and never transmitted to our servers.

2. How We Use Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To process payments and provide Pro features
  • To send account emails (verification, receipts, license keys)
  • To improve the Service via anonymous usage statistics

3. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Supabase — authentication
  • LemonSqueezy — payment processing
  • Vercel — hosting & analytics
  • Legal authorities — when required by law

4. Data Retention

We retain account data while your account exists. You can request deletion by emailing hello@modullax.ai. We will delete your data within 30 days of receipt.

5. Your Rights

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion
  • Withdraw consent

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Moshot is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. International Users

Moshot operates globally. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries where our service providers operate.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email.
